Cathedral faced Fishers in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Fighting Irish walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers. The victory was nothing new for the Fighting Irish as they're now sitting on four straight.

Ryan Peterson paced Cathedral's offense, picking up nine kills. Peterson got some help from Nick Whitley and his 23 assists. Jake Werne controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cathedral's win bumped their record up to 25-4. As for Fishers, their loss dropped their record down to 26-4.

Cathedral has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Roncalli on the 10th. As for Fishers, they will challenge Hamilton Southeastern at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
