Baseball Recap: Garrett Comes Up Short

Garrett lost against East Noble back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Railroaders fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2. The Railroaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Garrett saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Collins, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Garrett's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for East Noble, their record now sits at 5-3.

Looking ahead, Garrett will square off against Fremont at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for East Noble, they will take on Fort Wayne Bishop Luers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. East Noble's pitchers better be ready for this one: Fort Wayne Bishop Luers has averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season.
