Basketball Recap: Wheat Ridge Farmers vs. Conifer Lobos
Wheat Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss. They took a blow against the Conifer Lobos, falling 60-33. The Farmers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lobos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Several Farmers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sophia Burnham, who posted 12 points. The dominant performance gave Burnham a new career-high in points. Sky Copeland was another key player, putting up eight points and eight rebounds.

Wheat Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-20 defeat against Golden on the 7th. As for Conifer, they have also already played their next game, a 57-23 loss against Standley Lake on the 7th.
