Basketball Game Preview: Stebbins Indians vs. Fairborn Skyhawks

The Stebbins Indians will head out on the road to take on the Fairborn Skyhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stebbins has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 14.

Stebbins came up short against West Carrollton on Saturday, falling 54-33. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 702nd, while the Pirates are ranked 341st).

Meanwhile, Fairborn posted their closest win since December 19, 2023 on Friday. They had just enough and edged Greenville out 56-54.

Fairborn's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Stebbins, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Stebbins beat Fairborn 75-66 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Stebbins since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
