Soccer Game Preview: Everett vs. Marysville-Pilchuck

The Everett Seagulls will take on the Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Everett's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Thursday, Everett didn't have quite enough to beat Stanwood and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Everett have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Marysville-Pilchuck came into Thursday's match having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They never let Marysville Getchell get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Thursday.

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Marysville-Pilchuck, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 2-12.

Everett was able to grind out a solid win over Marysville-Pilchuck in their previous meeting last Tuesday, winning 3-1. Do the Seagulls have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tomahawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
