Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Piner). They never let the Elsie Allen Lobos get on the board and left with a 28-0 win on Monday. The Prospectors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Mialynn Membrilla and Cambria Weerts made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Membrilla pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Weerts struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Membrilla has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. At bat, Membrilla went a perfect 5-for-5 with ten RBI, four runs, and three doubles, while Weerts went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs. Those ten RBI gave Membrilla a new career-high.

In other batting news, Bella Parra and Camilla Parra did most of the damage at the plate: Bella got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one double, while Camilla got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Camilla a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Genavieve De Mauro, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Piner kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 11.8.

The victory (which was Piner's fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Elsie Allen, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.
