John Brogan and Evan Hodge secure win for St. Mary's

Recap: St. Mary's vs. Athens Christian Preparatory Academy Storm
St. Mary's scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They rang in the new year with a 73-60 win over Athens Christian Preparatory Academy. The win was nothing new for St. Mary's as they're now sitting on three straight.
Leading St. Mary's to victory were John Brogan and Evan Hodge. Brogan scored 23 points, while Hodge dropped a double-double on 32 points and ten rebounds. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Hodge has scored at least 25% of St. Mary's points. Another player making a difference was Taylor Darnell, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
St. Mary's has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Athens Christian Preparatory Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary's will square off against Christian Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Athens Christian Preparatory Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Boniface Catholic Classical at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
