Volleyball Preview: Steele Knights vs. Judson Rockets
Steele is 10-0 against Judson since October of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, both will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Steele and six for Judson.
Last Tuesday, Steele didn't have quite enough to beat Clemens and fell 3-2.
Steele actually scored more points across those five sets (105-100), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 18-25, 17-25, 25-22, 15-13.
Meanwhile, Judson didn't have quite enough to beat East Central on Tuesday and fell 3-2. While the Rockets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hornets 25-23 in the first set.
Judson took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-12, 15-11.
Steele's defeat dropped their record down to 16-25. As for Judson, their loss dropped their record down to 8-25.
Steele took their win against Judson in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0. Does Steele have another victory up their sleeve, or will Judson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
