Basketball Recap: Warren Central Comes Up Short

Warren Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Columbus Falcons, falling 54-19. The Vikings lost against the Falcons in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 61-5 score last time.

Warren Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Columbus, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-13.

Warren Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-36 defeat against Neshoba Central on the 31st. Columbus has also already played their next matchup, a 53-31 loss against Pontotoc on the 30th.
