Basketball Recap: Turner Takes a Loss

Turner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 62-13 loss at the hands of the Basehor-Linwood Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Golden Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while the Bobcats are ranked 93rd).

Turner's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Basehor-Linwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Turner will head out to square off against Leavenworth at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Basehor-Linwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Shawnee Heights on Tuesday.
