Soccer Recap: Glenbrook South Falls Short of Stevenson in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Glenbrook South can now relate to. They fell just short of the Stevenson Patriots by a score of 2-1 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Glenbrook South couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Evan Skoulikaris, who's now up to three this season.

Glenbrook South's loss dropped their record down to 13-10-1. As for Stevenson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4-2.

Glenbrook South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stevenson, they will challenge Barrington at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
