After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Helias, Jefferson City was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Battle Spartans by a score of 48-40. The Jays' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jefferson City moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Battle, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Jefferson City will be playing at home against Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Battle, they will venture away from home to face off against Troy-Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
