The Quaboag Regional Cougars will head out to take on the Oxford Pirates at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Quaboag Regional is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Quaboag Regional's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Montachusett RVT by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Oxford didn't have quite enough to beat Burncoat on Wednesday and fell 3-2.

Oxford dropped their record down to 6-4-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Quaboag Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0-2.

Quaboag Regional came out on top in a nail-biter against Oxford in their previous matchup last Monday, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
