Baseball Recap: Fuquay - Varina Falls Short of Gray's Creek in the Playoffs

Fuquay - Varina and Gray's Creek squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Fuquay - Varina had to settle for second. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Fuquay - Varina's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Gray's Creek, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-8.

Fuquay - Varina does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gray's Creek, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 22-13 loss against Pinecrest on the 9th.
