Football Recap: St. Andrew's Comes Up Short at Home Against Edmund Burke Academy

St. Andrew unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 30-6 to the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Even if they lost, St. Andrew's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jack Kelley, Patrick Jackson, and Jacob Navare, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Looking ahead, St. Andrew's will face off against Hilton Head Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Edmund Burke Academy, they will host Robert Toombs Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
