Asheville waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Everything went their way against the North Buncombe Black Hawks as they made off with an 11-1 win. Considering the Cougars have won five games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Asheville's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for North Buncombe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Asheville will host Apex Friendship at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Buncombe, they will be playing at home against the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
