Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Mckenzee Westall and Demia Swanson Lead Centennial to Victory

The third road matchup was the charm for Centennial, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They walked away with a 25-18 win over the Hillcrest Trojans on Wednesday. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Centennial's receiving core played a big role in the win, headlined by Demia Swanson and Mckenzee Westall. Swanson picked up 119 receiving yards and two touchdowns while Westall picked up 110 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Centennial has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Hillcrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1.

Coincidentally, Centennial and Hillcrest will both be playing La Sierra the next time they take the field. The Trojans will head out to face the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Huskies will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
