Football Recap: Hillsboro Comes Up Short at Home Against Kenwood + How To Watch

Hillsboro unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. The match between the Burros and the Kenwood Knights didn't end well, with the Burros falling 20-6. The Burros were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Christian James was nothing short of spectacular for Kenwood: he rushed for 151 yards on only 14 carries, and also threw for 59 yards and one touchdown.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsboro is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Overton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kenwood, they will head out to take on White House-Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
