Volleyball Game Preview: Olympic Heights Lions vs. Boca Raton Bobcats

Olympic Heights is 0-6 against Boca Raton since March of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Lions will square off against the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Olympic Heights is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Stoneman Douglas.

Meanwhile, Boca Raton entered their tilt with Atlantic on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Eagles 3-0.

Boca Raton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Atlantic between 17 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-18.

Boca Raton's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. As for Olympic Heights, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Olympic Heights couldn't quite get it done against Boca Raton when the teams last played back in March as they fell 3-1. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
