League recap: Ozark rises, Republic falls in league standings

Ozark made the biggest jump in the standings this week, moving from sixth to fourth place in the league thanks to a 1-0 record over the past seven days. Meanwhile, Republic fell hardest in the standings, dropping from fourth all the way to sixth place after going 0-2 in the past week. Branson (4-3, 4-1) is the No. 1 team in Central Ozarks - Large.

Webb City (6-2, 2-1) has won four games in a row, the league's longest active win streak. Two of those wins came in the past week, includinga 9-8 victory over Seneca.

Neosho's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 24 hits and 15 walks to lead the league in both categories. On the season, the Wildcats have allowed just 124 hits, while striking out 105 batters. Trey Turner leads the Wildcats with 31 strikeouts in 30 innings.
