Wayne Preparatory Academy hasn't had much luck against Wayne Country Day recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Generals will square off against the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. Wayne Preparatory Academy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

On Saturday, Wayne Preparatory Academy made easy work of Neuse Charter and carried off a 95-69 win.

Meanwhile, Wayne Country Day came up short against Wesleyan Christian Academy on Saturday and fell 66-59.

Wayne Preparatory Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Wayne Country Day, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Wayne Preparatory Academy was dealt a bruising 74-38 defeat at the hands of Wayne Country Day when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can the Generals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
