Baseball Recap: East Grand Forks Beats Thief River Falls for Their Fourth Straight Victory

East Grand Forks put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Thief River Falls Prowlers by a score of 4-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-2 on Tuesday.

East Grand Forks got a great performance from Jakob Stassen as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over six innings pitched.

At the plate, Brody Anderson was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Jordan Nowacki also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

East Grand Forks pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Thief River Falls, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Coincidentally, East Grand Forks and Thief River Falls will both be playing Champlin Park the next time they take the field. The Prowlers will host the Rebels at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Green Wave will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th.
