Basketball Recap: Southridge Comes Up Short

Southridge lost against North Central back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Southridge Suns lost to the North Central Wolfpack at home by a 63-44 margin. The match marked the Suns' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Southridge and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for North Central, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Southridge will be home for the holidays to greet Richland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Richland will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Southridge surely won't give up without a fight. North Central and Shadle Park will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in North Central's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
