Basketball Recap: Corinth Comes Up Short

Corinth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 42-35 to the Lewisburg Patriots.

Among those leading the charge was Neely Presley, who posted 12 points and four steals. What's more, she also racked up three rebounds, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Emmy Taylor, who had five points and six rebounds.

Corinth's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lewisburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-13.

Corinth didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-40 defeat against Ripley on the 30th. As for Lewisburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-39 loss against Kossuth on the 28th.
