Basketball Recap: Northside L Piles Up the Points Against Lapeer Lakers Homeschool

Northside L saw some tournament action on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lapeer Lakers Homeschool Lakers 64-34. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Northside L got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was WILL SLAGLE out in front who went 7 for 9 en route to 14 points. That's the most points SLAGLE has posted since back in November of 2024. CAMERON BRUNK was another key player, putting up 11 points along with seven boards and six assists.

Northside L was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lapeer Lakers Homeschool only racked up five assists.

Lapeer Lakers Homeschool lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Josh Campbell, who posted ten points. Campbell is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Lomasney, who earned 12 points.

The victory got Northside L back to even at 14-14. As for Lapeer Lakers Homeschool, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 19-6 record.

Northside L has already played their next contest, a 70-58 win against Columbus HomeSchool on the 1st. As for Lapeer Lakers Homeschool, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-47 defeat against Wabash Valley HomeSchool on the 1st.
