Baseball Recap: Ludlow Panthers vs. Bracken County Polar Bears
Ludlow had lost four straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped down to 10-15 to make it five. They fell 7-3 to the Bracken County Polar Bears. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 9-7 to the Polar Bears when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

On the hitting side, Bracken County let Justis Johnson and Corbin Combess run wild. Johnson went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Combess went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave Johnson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Sharp, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Coming up, Ludlow will welcome Newport at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bracken County, they will square off against Augusta at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
