Basketball Recap: Dayton Find Success

Dayton hadn't done well against Hug recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Dayton Dust Devils walked away with a 50-41 win over the Hug Hawks. While the Dust Devils didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The victory made it two in a row for Dayton and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for Hug, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Dayton will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hug at 12:30 p.m. on December 26th. As for Hug, they will be home for the holidays to greet Eureka at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Eureka's defense has only allowed 29.6 points per game this season, so Hug's offense will have their work cut out for them.
