Softball Recap: Bakersfield Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four contests, Bakersfield finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Van Buren Bulldogs, falling 12-2. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bakersfield's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Van Buren, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Bakersfield has already played their next contest, an 18-1 win against Couch on the 16th. As for Van Buren, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Alton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
