Lanesville had lost three games at home, but after bumping their record up to 8-14 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Clarksville Generals with a sharp 10-2 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.

Makenna Mills was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and only one walk). Those 17 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
