Rainier Beach had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Renton Red Hawks 81-60. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won five games in a row dating back to last season.

Renton's loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rainier Beach will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Bishop Blanchet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Vikings their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Renton, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Palm Springs at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Hawks will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
