Soccer Recap: Northpoint Christian Comes Up Short

Northpoint Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. George's Gryphons. Northpoint Christian were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. George's apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Northpoint Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-4-1. As for St. George's, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northpoint Christian will welcome First Assembly Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. George's, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kingsbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
