Basketball Recap: Warwick Comes Up Short

Warwick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 59-48 to the Kingston Tigers. The Wildcats lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 66-28 score last time.

Warwick's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Kingston, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

When Warwick and Kingston next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Warwick will try to stop Cornwall Central's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Kingston will challenge Shenendehowa and their ten-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
