            Softball Preview: Puckett Wolves vs. Clinton Arrows        
        
		
        
        
            The Puckett Wolves will challenge the Clinton Arrows at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Clinton will be up against a hot Puckett  team: the  squad just extended their winning streak to seven. The Wolves put the hurt on Raleigh with a sharp  12-6 victory on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Clinton waltzed into their game  on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by  a  13-3 margin over the Golden Wave.
 Annalise Whitworth made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed six innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted  over her last 11  matchups.
 In other batting news,  EstrElla Constancio was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted  over her last nine  contests.  Keelyn Constancio was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-5.
 Clinton  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in six consecutive  games.
 Puckett pushed their record up to 15-6-1 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Clinton, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.
