Basketball Recap: Schaeffer Academy Takes a Loss

Schaeffer Academy kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of Spring Grove/Mabel-Canton by a score of 55-53. The Lions' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it eight in a row dating back to last season.

Spring Grove/Mabel-Canton's victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Schaeffer Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spring Grove/Mabel-Canton, they will face off against New Hampton at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
