Football Recap: Cumberland Starts off Right with Win over Lincoln

Cumberland took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They snuck past the Lincoln Lions with a 20-14 victory. The Clippers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cumberland will challenge Barrington at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Clippers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Lincoln, they will venture away from home to face off against Shepherd Hill Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
