Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McKeesport). They came out on top against the Laurel Highlands Mustangs by a score of 70-62 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-58 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Laurel Highlands lost, don't look at Luke Martin. Despite the final result, he posted 28 points. The dominant performance gave Martin a new career-high in points. Kayden Smith was another key player, putting up 12 points.

McKeesport's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Laurel Highlands, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
