Volleyball Game Preview: Field Kindley Golden Tornado vs. Labette County Grizzlies

Field Kindley hasn't had much luck against Labette County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Golden Tornado will take on the Grizzlies. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Field Kindley came up short against Parsons and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Labette County didn't have quite enough to beat Parsons on Tuesday and fell 2-1. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Labette County started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-17, 25-14.

Field Kindley's loss dropped their record down to 2-18-3. As for Labette County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-20.

Field Kindley couldn't quite get it done against Labette County in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 2-0. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Grizzlies' Malaya Broadwell, who had 17 digs and four assists.
