Basketball Recap: Eldorado Has No Trouble Against Manzano

Eldorado won the last time they faced Manzano and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eldorado Golden Eagles enjoyed a cozy 64-48 victory over the Manzano Monarchs.

When it comes to explaining why Manzano lost, don't look at Kai Youngberg. Despite the final result, he went 8 of 14 en route to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Estevan Gonzalez, who posted 12 points and seven assists.

Eldorado is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for Manzano, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Eldorado wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 79-55 loss against La Cueva on the 23rd. Manzano has also already played their next match, a 55-33 defeat against Santa Fe on the 23rd.
