Baseball Recap: Coventry Takes a Loss

Coventry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rittman Indians. If the Comets were looking for revenge after losing 13-7 to the Indians when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Coventry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Rittman, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10.

Coventry has already played their next game (against McKinley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rittman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-1 victory against Open Door Christian on the 5th.
