Recap: Ketchikan Kings vs. Thunder Mountain Falcons
The Ketchikan Kings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their tenth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 52-33 to Thunder Mountain. Ketchikan has not had much luck with Thunder Mountain recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Ketchikan lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Bree Johnson, who scored ten points. Kari Klinger was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Ketchikan's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Thunder Mountain, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ketchikan will take on Juneau-Douglas at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Thunder Mountain, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Colony at 7:00 p.m. on February 16th.
