Basketball Recap: Sahuaro Cougars vs. Mica Mountain Thunderbolts
Sahuaro has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts on the road by a 58-41 margin on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunderbolts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-44 back in January.

Despite the loss, Sahuaro still got an impressive performance from Carly Coolidge, who went 8 of 15 to rack up 20 points and six boards. That's the most points Coolidge has posted since back in December of 2024. Harmony Twito was another key player, putting up ten points and six rebounds.

Sahuaro's record is now 20-9. As for Mica Mountain, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-7.
