Baseball Recap: Blue Island Eisenhower Takes a Loss

Blue Island Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to the Richards Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Monday.

Adrian Torres made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Blue Island Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 8-22. As for Richards, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Island Eisenhower will host Lindblom at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Richards, they will be playing at home against De La Salle at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
