Volleyball Recap: Jefferson-Morgan Takes a Loss

Jefferson-Morgan lost against McGuffey back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rockets lost 3-0 to the Highlanders. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 25-5.

Kelsey Vessels paced Jefferson-Morgan's offense, picking up four kills. Vessels got some help from Mallory McManis and her eight assists. Beautiful Medlen controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Jefferson-Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Jefferson-Morgan will square off against California at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McGuffey, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on West Greene at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
