Preview: Anderson C Cavaliers vs. Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights
The Anderson C Cavaliers will head out on the road to face off against the Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Anderson C will be strutting in after a victory while Georgia Force Christian will be coming in after a defeat.
On Tuesday, Anderson C escaped with a win against GREEN Upstate by the margin of a single free throw, 52-51. The win was just what Anderson C needed coming off of a 76-49 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Georgia Force Christian pushed their score all the way to 74 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 75-74 to Grace Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, Georgia Force Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while Grace Christian Academy is ranked 69th).
The victory got Anderson C back to even at 2-2. As for Georgia Force Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.
Anderson C lost to Georgia Force Christian on the road by a decisive 65-48 margin in their previous matchup back in February. Can Anderson C avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
