Baseball Recap: Laurel Takes a Loss

Laurel fell victim to Wayne County and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the War Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Golden Tornadoes' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it eight in a row.

Laurel's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Wayne County, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

While Laurel had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
