Football Game Preview: Wahpeton vs. Jamestown

Jamestown will challenge Wahpeton on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Jamestown don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

Their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Jamestown, but their most recent contest may have softened the blow. They captured a comfortable 30-14 victory over Valley City.

Meanwhile, after a big victory against Grafton/St. Thomas/Drayton two weeks ago, Wahpeton came back down to earth. Last Saturday, Wahpeton came up short against Devils Lake/Minnewaukan, falling 14-21.

Everything went Jamestown's way against Wahpeton the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 35-8 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jamestown since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
