Soccer Recap: Friendship Takes a Loss

Friendship was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Cuba-Rushford Rebels, falling 4-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Friendship of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Friendship's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Cuba-Rushford, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Friendship will host Bolivar-Richburg at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Friendship will be up against Bolivar-Richburg's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.11 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Cuba-Rushford, they will head out on the road to take on Canisteo-Greenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
