East Wilkes is 8-2 against Alleghany since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. East Wilkes will host Alleghany at 7:00 p.m. Alleghany took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on East Wilkes, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, East Wilkes needed a bit of extra time to put away South Stokes. They skirted past the Sauras 8-7.

Dalton Wood and Elijah Johnson dominated on the mound. Wood pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits, while Johnson tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, Johnson gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Alleghany's offense. They lost 7-0 to North Stokes on Friday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Wilkes' win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Alleghany, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Everything went East Wilkes' way against Alleghany in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as East Wilkes made off with a 14-5 victory. Will East Wilkes repeat their success, or does Alleghany has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
