While Tri-Valley's win against Madison wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs won by a run and slipped past the Bulldogs 9-8. The victory was just business as usual for the Mustangs, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Madison, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Tri-Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-4 defeat against Elk Point-Jefferson on the 31st. Hopefully Madison paid attention to the Mustangs' matchup: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
