Riverside Academy is a perfect 7-0 against West St. John since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Riverside Academy will head out on the road to challenge West St. John at 6:00 p.m. Riverside Academy will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Riverside Academy took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Ascension Catholic, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Riverside Academy narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Ascension Catholic 6-5.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 18 runs the game before, West St. John was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 18-1 to St. Martin's Episcopal. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Saints: they've now lost seven in a row.

Riverside Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for West St. John, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything went Riverside Academy's way against West St. John in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Riverside Academy made off with a 22-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Riverside Academy since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
